While trying to plan my senior week, before graduation, my friends and I began to explore www.airbnb.com/, a site that allows users to rent out rooms, apartments, or houses to the public. What I found surprising about this process was the informality of it. Usually I think of sales being a formal process where the customer has a sales pitch thrown at them. Airbnb connects the traveler with the host to converse about the property. There is no pressure in making a purchase, purely just gathering information, in my opinion how sales should be.
