The idea of attunement is crucial within the sales world, but also in all relationships. Attunement in sales looks like increasing your power by reducing it, using your head and heart equally, and mimicking strategically. Overall, attunement is getting in the shoes of your client and helping to solve their pain. In other relationships, attunement is absolutely key. For example, my mom is a therapist, and her whole job hinges on attunement and empathizing with her clients. I see a lot of parallels between her work and what I’m learning in sales, which attests to the new sales model being used.
