In observing the sales presentations last week I noticed that the best presentations were the ones where something unexpected happens. Instead of a cut and dry question and answer series we get to see sellers dig out information in the middle of the presentation while also searching for pain points. When we see a curveball thrown at a presenter it is fun to watch and an entertaining way to learn.

Yeah taking a curveball and staying in stride is extremely important. You have to be able to adapt to whatever the situation gives you.
It is definitely fun to watch if the salesperson is thrown a curveball, but its a little tougher when you’re that salesperson.
The curveball is a great way to build upon your improvising skills, it was fun to watch people recover from their errors.
I agree it is more fun to watch presentations when a curve ball is thrown. It is very interesting to see how people adapt, and overcome unexpected situations
