Don’t be afraid of your youth, rather take advantage of it. There are many advantages to being an undergrad student, and if you are strategic you can use your youth to your advantage.
- People don’t expect you to have the answers. There is a lot of power in being willing to admit that you don’t have the answers.
- Generally people LOVE talking with College Students. I have met with many business leaders because I am a college student. Additionally, when you are doing research for a startup or in an industry that you are interested in I have found that playing the ‘I’m just a college student’ card works very well. I have utilized this especially when conducting surveys/interviews.
- People are interested in investing in College Students. Just this semester I have made two incredible connections with business leaders that are interested in investing in the next generation. I have found two attributes to be essential to gaining the interest of those interested in investing in students: passion to learn, and a common connection.
Never be afraid of speaking to someone because of your, it should be the opposite. Be confident and take advantage of your youth.
I have found that many people are very willing to invest in us as the next generation whether it be financially or just their time and ideas to assist us with the future.

Your third post was the most interesting to me, it made me thing: investing in a college entrepreneur is essentially like helping them create their job/career. Very awesome age we live in that entrepreneurs have those advantages.
