Last Summer while I was running my pressure washing company one of my first clients asked for me to remove the stain on the side of his log cabin, I decided to do it. After completing part of the one side of the house I noticed that the wood was taking damage, I went and got the home owner and he came out and was livid and he said he wasn’t going to pay me, I tried to handle the situation to the best of my ability and I told him I did exactly what he asked of me. After talking about it he cooled off a little and he ended up paying me in the end.

  1. Its good you talked to him in a rational way in order to move the conversation back to one built on reason. Great sales tactic, Jansen! 😉

  2. The honesty that you showed here paid off. He might not have been satisfied at first, but you showed yourself to be trustable and honest even when it was hard! That trust is key.
