Luke Gilligan is indeed an icon in the Grove City College Entrepreneurship department. Even though he is only a sophomore he has achieved multiple successes and awards. Most recently his business Resense which he co-founded was awarded $10,000 during a competition that which they placed 5th. The E-fest competition. Last year Resense was founded by three individuals, including Luke, in a Lean LaunchPad class. That team then went on to earn second place in the Wolverine Venture Battle earning over $6000 dollars. This was all while Luke was only a freshman. He really is a real-life example of all that the entrepreneurship department offers. He and Ethan David, another co-founder, now run Resense while working as full-time students here at GCC. Earlier this week Luke was also voted to be next year’s CEO club, or rather the Collegiate Entrepreneurship Organization, president, and Ethan David was voted to be the Vice President. This past semester he was my Lean Launchpad team TA and is a huge reason why we not only made it into the Wolverine Venture Battle but received fan favorite and a total of $1,820. Overall Luke Gilligan is a natural entrepreneur with the work ethic to make it anywhere. Resense continues to grow as it helps people with dementia. Whoever reads this should most definitely congratulate Luke and Ethan on their win.
