Grove City College
Looking for colleges was obviously a big deal to me and a huge part in my life. I was recruited to play football here at Grove City College and Coach Dido made my experience unforgettable. Coach Dido obviously has a background in sales and explained how he was such a good salesmen. I talked to him a little bit here and there about football and college and then one night he called me about my potential choice being Grove City College.
A Night to Remember
Coach Dido called me one night the spring of my senior year about potentially playing football here at Grove City College. He asked me what my three biggest factors were in looking for a college. I told him education, community, and job placement. Coach Dido then sculpted an incredible sales pitch around the three factors I stated and catered his speech to my desires. He explained the great education, the great job placement rate, and the great community. I had also blown out my knee half way through my senior season and had to let him know that I was dealing with a huge obstacle, especially when looking to potentially play college football. Coach Dido assured me that the staff would take great care of me and help me get back to health for when I am ready to make my return.
After being on the phone with him I immediately scheduled a visit to the college where I took a tour with the head recruiting coach and met all of the other coaches. When I met Coach Dido here on campus we went back over the important factors to me and reassured me that this was the place for me. My mother fell in love with the campus and with everything Grove City Stands for after the visit. Coach Dido sold me on Grove City and I love it.
