My first job was a cart boy at the local Country Club. But if you look on my LinkedIn it will say Transportation Manager. I think LinkedIn and Resume’s are great places to be creative with your words and making your past experiences as pretty as possible for your potential employer.

This was a great job for many reasons. At the Lockport Town & Country Club there were many business owners that were members there. This gave me a opportunity to network with experienced business people. Also, while working their I realized how much of a impact golf has in the business world. Many times when I picked up the phone it was members asking to add people into their group, and almost every time it was a potential client. I think I will work there again this summer and try to be more outgoing. I became close to some of these business owner’s and was able to even play a couple holes with them on certain occasions.

I enjoyed what I was doing while I was there. I think that’s a huge part when finding a job or the potential career path that you want to pursue.
