I think that was a very interesting idea. In Pinks book, it says that before you go in for an interview or asking for an investment, take the time to lay out all the reason someone would say no. A “Thanks, but no thanks.” sort of letter. Pink says to use phrases like…
“After Careful consideration…”
“We regret to inform you…”
“We had many qualified applicants…”
The reasoning behind this is after you drafted up your own letter and have read it, it is supposed to make it seem less daunting. It can also give you great insight into what the reasons are you wont get the job/investment. Once you know the reasons there may be some counter moves you can make to solve them. It also gives a link to fill out a rejection letter! It is a generator at http://ow.ly/cQ5rl
