After our discussion on The Challenger Sale I decided to hunt down other cool and informative sales-y books to pull unheard-of concepts from and gain knowledge from the experts that have come before us. The first result in my expedition landed me on this eye-catching number:
The four authors of this book – Ian Mills, Mark Ridley, Ben Laker, and Tim Chapman – claim to hold the “formula for success” in the sales world. Acclaimed by many (including our very own Dan Pink) the book even has it’s own website that houses information on the authors, ratings, what the book is about, interviews, and even a way to get in contact with the authors. Pink’s opinion of the book reads:
“Sales is now an integral part of every role, making this an essential read for all business professionals. The authors of The Salesperson’s Secret Code combine hard data with intelligent insight to show, with verve and skill, how the world’s best salespeople continue to thrive in uncertain times and how others can learn from their success. “-Daniel Pink, author of Drive and To Sell is Human

Happy reading!
Leona, this is so interesting! I really appreciated learning more about another book about sales in class on Friday, especially such a unique one, and this is yet another neat book. If Pink likes it, what better recommendation do we need right? I will be sure to add this to my list of books that I need to read about business, sales, ENTR, and what not, when I have time! Thanks again!
An ESSENTIAL read for business professionals? Why, I would be downright cheating myself by not purchasing this book. Especially considering that Pink praised it. A friend of Pink’s is a friend of mine!
Thanks for sharing this! It looks like a really good and valuable read to supplement our knowledge from class. If Pink recommends it, I’ll read it!
