One of the biggest things I have learned from listening to the sales pitches of my classmates is that an actual sales pitch is much different in the moment than it is on paper. It is easy to imagine how the conversation might go when not in the moment, but when it actually comes time to pitch a lot of the techniques we have learned leave our minds. A huge factor in the success of a pitch is practice. If someone pitches often they will be better prepared for the curveballs thrown at them. It also helps to have your techniques drilled into you, similar to muscle memory, so that you don’t lose your head during the sales call. I know that the pressure affects how I pitch and really the only way to combat that is practice. That is why I think these practice sales conversations are so beneficial, through practice we will become much better at selling clients on our products.

I very much agree! It is hard to expect what will happen that’s why it is good to have these skills to help in real-life selling situations
This is so true! Sales can go any direction at any time and there’s never any way to prepare for it. Nice post!
