Going into my senior year of college I decided I wanted to live in a single dorm. Among other things this meant I would have to get my own decorations instead of depending on my roommates to fill out the walls like I had in the past. In my search for decorations I landed on the website “Etsy”. I had never bought anything on Etsy but had heard good things about it. After scrolling through poster designs I found a seller who made customs album cover posters based on any albums you request. I decided to choose this to get some cool poster designs of albums I like. Since the designs were customizable based on the requests of the customer, this meant there would be lots of direct interactions between the seller and I. I was able to get in touch with the seller and come up with great looking designs very easily. The seller was very flexible and responded to my messages very quickly. This left a very good impression on me and I could definitely see myself coming back for any other poster designs. This method of direct communication with the seller instead of just going on the website and buying a preset item from their storefront was something I had never really experienced before but is something that I now prefer when purchasing customizable items. I believe there is a lot to learn from this experience as it relates to any ventures into sales I may make myself. Things like good communication, flexibility, and building a good relationship with the customer are all things that can be applied in a ton of situations, and I can now base my selling strategies on this great experience I had on Etsy.

I think your experience on Etsy sounds intriguing in the sense that, based on the descriptions, I too want to shop there. It sounds simple, easy to use, and trustworthy.
