In the creative aspect of the world, sales is an importance skill to have because knowing exactly how to sell your skills, experience and vision is important. But in humble opinion clarity is more important. The creativity business is built on a foundation of abstract ideas and goals; majority of the time both the clients and creative professional both come into a brief with two perspective and direction for a project. So this highlight a skill we have discussed in this class as highly important, asking questions. Asking questions will help understand the wants, goals of clients and also helps to contain/maintain expectations. This leads to clarity and avoids dissatisfied clients.

Great points, Jedidiah! I agree that clarity is so important in satisfying a customer. This clarity can only be achieved by asking questions and ensuring that both parties have a clear understanding of the opportunity at hand. Thanks for sharing!
