I thought this was an interesting topic to talk about because it is something that will affect my generation for a long time. It is more than just a sale it is a pursuit of freedom of speech and freedom in general but i will just be focusing on the main sale that happened and talking about what happened and what Elon most likely did.
Elon Musk is so rich that money is not a problem or something that he cares about anymore. He just spent 44 BILLION dollars on twitter. That’s a lot of money. And the reason I bring up his wealth is because I think that it was a major influencer. Now the main topic of my blog post is how twitter was able to make Elon pay that much. I read many places that twitter is not that valuable and that Elon overpaid this transaction. So how did they do it? Well what they did was they knew their customer. Basically what I am saying is is that a valuable asset to a salesperson is understanding who you are selling to. Elon was willing to pay so much money for that company that they were able to convince him to pay that much.
In conclusion, as a salesperson it is important tot be able to understand who you are selling to because to will help to determine what they are willing to buy and sell. This asset and being able to read a situation is sometimes better than even truely understanding the product.
Very interesting topic discussing a recent event along with what we learned! I think that the Elon buy was a good one and I am excited to see what he does with it.
