This weekend, I went to the Pirates game in Pittsburgh and as usual, I was so annoyed at how much money I had to spend for everything. It started off by having to pay $15 to park in what we thought was the cheapest parking lot. However, they make up for charging less to park by charging everyone $5 to use the restroom. They purposely had no porta – potty’s available in the parking lot so that everyone would have to pay $5 to go into the restaurant and use their bathroom. They get people into the parking lot by making them think they are getting a better deal by only paying $15 to park instead of $25 and hiding the fact that you have to pay to use the restroom. I think it was sneaky and not fair to make everyone pay for the bathroom. They at least should have provided porta-potties and gave people the option of using that or paying to use their restroom. They made every sale they wanted to by having a full parking lot, and made lots of extra money by charging for the bathroom, but I thought it was sneaky and not a good thing to do if they wanted to give a good impression of their restaurant.
