My friends and I are ambitious. We are currently attempting to host a small for-profit event on campus where we make high-end food for friends of TMX. This event is still in the planning phase but essentially it is a hospitality night similar to Little Italy or the BYOM on the Rhos hall, but hopefully better. In planning this event I had to convince my friends to not go through SGA, which was surprising to them because of my affiliation with student government. I had to convince them with my experience and my desire to benefit the group. In essence, I was using non-sales selling to persuade them to my view of tackling this event. I believe I was able to do this by calling on my built trust with the group through our previous experiences together and my experience with Parkhurst dining. As nice as it would be to have things paid for by the school, unfortunately, I believe the quality might drop. TMX is pulling funds together from our hall and we are all pitching in to put on an evening of good food prepared by us (primarily Isaiah Weindelmayer- hence Weindel’s kitchen). We plan on having our friend Matthew Hammond perform magic tricks for the crowd and as of today I have called on the assistance of Sarah Altman to play piano for setting the mood. (Hopefully, she will accept our offer.) Know that you the reader know what this event is, I am going to sell it to you.
You should come to Weindel’s Kitchen. The honest men of TMX will put it on and there should be better food that the dining hall can provide.
The menu as of right now is going to be chicken pesto, artisanal bread, and a hot brownie with ice cream. Tickets will be sold for 5 dollars and all profits will be going to pay off the ingredients as well as to a charity to be determined. Thank you for considering. if interested please reach me at: Devlinnc22@gcc.edu.

DISCLAIMER: TMX IS NOT A REAL GREEK GROUP WE ARE A GROUP OF FRIENDS THAT DOES NOT HAVE A RUSH CLASS.

This sounds very interesting, and you’ve sold me. Anything for food.
